Lunchtime Supervisor Position

The Sudbury Catholic District School Board is seeking reliable and responsible individuals to fill Lunchtime Supervisor positions in various schools across the City of Greater Sudbury and the community of Killarney.


Job Summary

Under the direction of the principal and/or vice principal, the Lunchtime Supervisor will maintain order and discipline in designated areas within the school building and schoolyard. This role requires effective communication, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards students.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for students during lunch periods
  • Assist with basic administrative duties as assigned
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment
  • Exercise good judgment, patience, and self-control when dealing with students

Requirements
  • Ability to communicate orally in English
  • Ability to relate with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally
  • Ability to contribute effectively to a team
  • Ability to express a positive attitude and enthusiasm with students
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, patience, self-control, and perseverance when dealing with students
  • Ability to attend work on a regular and timely basis

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with children

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $21.27.
