About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Architect to join our team at IBI Group. As a key member of our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division, you will work on a variety of healthcare projects in BC, across Canada, and the USA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead feasibility studies, development permit applications, building permit applications, and contract documents for tender
  • Meet with clients and represent the firm at various working groups, preparing presentation materials
  • Participate in contract administration, administering the construction contract on behalf of the client, including field reviews, shop drawings, and RFI responses
  • Collaborate with project teams consisting of job captains and intern architects, as required
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in the architectural field
  • Licensed architect
  • Detailed understanding of project delivery phases and delivery models, such as Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and Construction Management
  • Knowledge of applicable CSA standards, building codes, and construction details
  • Advanced Revit skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Local experience is desirable
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $110,000
