Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. As a TPM, you will play a critical role in coordinating our technical projects, ensuring they are completed within deadlines and meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate agile/scrum methodologies, including grooming, stand-ups, team demos, coordination meetings, and retrospectives
  • Own technical project scoping, from requirements gathering to status reporting
  • Author and maintain product behavior guides and other project/technical documentation
  • Ensure product requirements are translated into maintainable software behaviors for implementation
  • Report generation for sprint metrics and roadmap status updates
  • Data-driven experience with writing/optimizing SQL queries for analyzing/validating data
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Be the point of contact for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring dependency tracking and project alignment between developers, product managers, and data engineers
Requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational tendencies, and analytical thinking
  • Strong oral/written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with software development or data engineering (Python, React, JS, Go, or others)
  • 1+ years of experience in Technical Project Management or a related field
  • An proactive and 'progressive agilist' who advocates for team members and customers alike
  • Process-oriented, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and software development life cycles
  • Proficiency with project management tools and processes (Jira, Confluence, Excel/Sheets, Miro, Lucid, etc)
Bonus Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in a scale-up environment or fast-paced tech environment
  • Experience with cloud technologies and modern web development practices
  • A passion for technology and process, and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment
  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification
