The Ottawa Department of Medicine is seeking an accomplished Geriatrician to join our esteemed academic team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $400,000 - $600,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Geriatrician to contribute to our department's mission of delivering outstanding care and advancing medical knowledge.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical services on our acute care inpatient Geriatric Medicine Unit and consultation teams
  • Teaching and supervising medical students and residents
  • Pursuing research opportunities in geriatrics, including clinical, health services delivery, and medical education

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold a specialist degree in Geriatric Medicine
  • Be eligible for licensure in Ontario
  • Have certification in Geriatric Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
