Restaurant Manager

At OVER THE COALS RESTAURANT, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, addressing any issues promptly and taking corrective action as needed.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and reports to ensure the financial health of the restaurant.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we provide exceptional service to our customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, attention to detail, and repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and organized.
