Senior Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technologist to join our team at DMC Recruitment. This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to the design, construction document production, and coordination with our clients in the Architecture & Design industry.

About the Role

This role requires a well-rounded individual with extensive experience in drafting detailed drawings across all project phases. You will also bring an in-depth knowledge of construction detailing, working drawings, and contract administration. A solid understanding of building envelope systems, ideally for institutional projects, is also essential.

Your Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Architectural and Building Technology from an accredited institution
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Canada
  • Experience working in the institutional, commercial, educational, healthcare, and mixed-use sectors throughout British Columbia
  • Self-motivated, with a curious technical aptitude and a keen design sense
  • Strong communication skills for a collaborative, team-focused work environment
  • Proficient technical skills in Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, and/or Enscape
