Job Description

Global Media Communications is seeking a skilled Web Designer to join our team. As a key member of our digital team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients to develop and document website requirements
  • Prepare mock-ups and storyboards to visualize the website's layout and design
  • Source and select information for inclusion, and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website
  • Create and optimize content for the website using various graphics, database, animation, and other software
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure the website meets our high standards
  • Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, and consult with clients to establish the overall look and feel of the website
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1 year of experience in web design or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
