Oyster Harvesting Job Description

Dong Van Hang is seeking a skilled Oyster Harvesting Specialist to join our team. As an Oyster Harvesting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining aquaculture equipment, operating aquaculture equipment, and reporting stock irregularities to supervisors.

Work Site Environment

The work site environment is wet/damp, and you will be required to work in physically demanding conditions. You will be handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and will be expected to ensure safety procedures are followed.

Tasks

  • Maintain aquaculture equipment
  • Operate aquaculture equipment
  • Report stock irregularities to supervisors
  • Write daily basic progress reports
  • Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures
  • Transport marine plants to processing plants
  • Clean, sort and pack shellfish
  • Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
