Job Title: Marine Aquaculture Specialist

Job Summary:

The Marine Aquaculture Specialist at Dong Van Hang will be responsible for maintaining aquaculture equipment, operating aquaculture equipment, and reporting stock irregularities to supervisors. This is a physically demanding role that requires up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight handling. The specialist will also ensure safety procedures are followed and grade and weigh aquaculture stocks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain aquaculture equipment
• Operate aquaculture equipment
• Report stock irregularities to supervisors
• Ensure safety procedures are followed
• Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
• Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures
• Transport marine plants to processing plants
• Clean, sort and pack shellfish

Work Environment:

This role is based in a wet/damp work site environment. The specialist will be working outdoors in a physically demanding role.

Requirements:

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience required
• Weight handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Work Term: Temporary
