Emergency Nurse

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department in Vancouver, BC.
As a Registered Nurse - Emergency, you will provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, assessing patient needs and prioritizing care requirements in a fast-paced environment.
You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care, stabilize and resuscitate multi-trauma victims, and respond to disaster situations.
This is a training opportunity for a Registered Nurse to develop their skills and expertise in emergency nursing.
The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and will be able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Assess patient needs and prioritize care requirements
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Stabilize and resuscitate multi-trauma victims
- Respond to disaster situations
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia
- 1 year of recent acute med/surg experience
- BCIT Emergency Nursing Specialty Program completion
