Camp Cook Job Description

LES ENTREPRISES FORESTIÈRES N.T. INC. is seeking a skilled Camp Cook to join their team in a remote location.

About the Job

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Cook Trade Certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
Working Conditions:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills and be able to work well in a team.
