Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at True Standard Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of construction projects, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and operating heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
