Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Assistant to join our team at D&H Laundry. As a Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of laundry services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mixing and Preparing Laundry Solutions

Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to create the perfect laundry blend.

Laundry Processing

Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets, and other articles, ensuring they are clean and pressed to perfection.

Finishing and Quality Control

Operate finishing equipment such as steam pressers, and use hand irons to finish pants, jackets, shirts, skirts, and other dry-cleaned and laundered articles. Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Attention to Detail

Ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring that every article is cleaned and pressed to perfection.

Fast-Paced Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.

Personal Suitability

Client focus and team player attitude.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience

Experience in a laundry or related field is an asset.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Schedule

35 hours per week.
