We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Professional Support Staff to join our team at ASCENT LOGISTICS LTD. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
About the JobThis full-time position involves a range of tasks including record-keeping, data compilation, and correspondence preparation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Record Management: Accurately maintain and update records of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
- Office Procedures: Establish and implement office procedures and routines to ensure efficient workflow.
- Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Communication: Answer phone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic enquiries.
- Data Compilation: Compile data, statistics, and other information as required.
- Inventory Management: Order office supplies, maintain inventory levels, and ensure timely restocking.
- Filing Systems: Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems.
- CORRESPONDENCE: Prepare and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and excellent time management skills. They must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.
Requirements and Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
