Key Responsibilities- Budgeting and Cost Control
Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
Operations EvaluationEvaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Menu Planning and PricingModify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
Staff ManagementRecruit, train, and manage staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
Supplier NegotiationsNegotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
Requirements- Education
College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Experience1 to less than 7 months of experience in a restaurant management role.
Work Environment35 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
English is the primary language of communication.
