We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Discovery Harbour. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our nursing home/home for the aged and long term care center settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations or treatments, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination of care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop effective care plans.
- Deliver health education programs to patients and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
- Provide high-quality nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records and reporting.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A valid criminal record check and bondability.
You will be working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including:
