About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OTR Tire Technician to join our Field Service Team in the Ottawa commercial store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by performing passenger and light truck, fleet and OTR vehicle tire removal, installation and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tire removal, installation, and repair services safely for commercial tires, including removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, inflating and installing repaired or new tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct diagnostics, evaluate the reparability of damage, and choose and complete proper repair methods.
  • Operate a Service Truck and perform roadside calls.
  • Work in a fast-paced, changing environment and be willing to learn and adapt to new situations.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to excel in a physical environment and easily lift 50 lbs.
  • Safety mindset, ready to wear all required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
  • Automotive or tire experience is an asset.
