We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Systems Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic security systems in residential and commercial settings.



Job Description:


The ideal candidate will have progressive experience in a technical role within the integrated security or low voltage industry. They will be proficient in access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms installation and servicing.



Responsibilities:



  • Review installation orders, gather equipment, supplies, and tools, and coordinate schedules with customers
  • Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
  • Plan installations by surveying and evaluating locations, identifying installation requirements, and developing an installation plan
  • Install equipment, run wiring, and program and calibrate equipment
  • Verify systems functioning properly by testing equipment, connections, and signals, and identifying and correcting problems
  • Maintain records by documenting installations and service performed
  • Troubleshoot systems, resolve issues for customers and end-users
  • Build relationships with clients and prospects for future opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Contribute to a positive team environment
  • Protect organizational values by keeping information confidential
  • Enhance organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment by following safe practices and keeping security information confidential


Qualifications:



  • Progressive experience in a technical role within the integrated security or low voltage industry required
  • Minimum five years of experience in the security industry (Access control, CCTV) required
  • Previous experience leading installations at the site level preferred
  • Programming experience preferred for senior positions
  • Vendor Certification in low voltage systems preferred
  • Valid TQ certification required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent considered an asset
  • Background check and security clearance
