Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Pneumatic Bulker Driver to join our team at B&R Eckel's. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for operating a tractor and pneumatic trailer to transport dried bulk salt and cement powder throughout Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate tractor and pneumatic trailer to transport bulk goods
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate transportation schedules
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • Class 1 Driver's License with clean abstract
  • Minimum one year Class 1 driving and Super-B experience
  • Pneumatic tanker experience preferred
  • Manual transmission experience required
  • Ability to work away from home for extended periods

Working Conditions:

  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Be away from home for extended periods
  • Stay in a bunk truck unit while working away from home
