Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Pneumatic Bulker Driver to join our team at B&R Eckel's. As a Lease Operator, you will be responsible for transporting dried bulk salt and cement powder throughout Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor and pneumatic trailer to transport bulk goods
  • Ensure compliance with Alberta CVIP requirements and Hours of Service legislation
  • Perform thorough pre and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a professional demeanor under stressful situations

Requirements:

  • Class 1 Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Minimum one year Class 1 driving and Super-B experience
  • Pneumatic tanker experience is preferred
  • Manual transmission experience required

Working Conditions:

  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Be away from home for extended periods of time
  • Stay in a bunk truck unit while working away from home
