About This Opportunity

This exciting role offers an exceptional opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Clinical Practice Leader in Emergency Services.

You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and guidance to clinical teams, focusing on optimizing patient care and streamlining operational processes.

The successful candidate will have expertise in quality improvement initiatives, adult education principles, and experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultation with the Program Director, Manager, and staff regarding program needs, developing strategies to address emerging trends and priorities.

  • Promoting clinical skills excellence by modeling best practices and supporting ongoing education and training initiatives.

  • Needs assessment and program development, analyzing data to inform decision-making and drive meaningful change.

  • Developing continuing education programs to keep staff updated with new practices, skills, and certifications, aligning with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Facilitating the development of multidisciplinary standards of patient care, emphasizing teamwork, communication, and empathy.

  • Collecting, analyzing statistical activities, and implementing appropriate interventions on clinical areas, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize operations.

Requirements:

  • Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required, with a BScN degree and Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

  • BCLS and ACLS certification required, along with at least 5 years of recent experience in Emergency Nursing.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading quality improvement initiatives, special projects, and adult education principles.

  • A minimum of three years previous experience in an adult educator role preferred, with excellent verbal, written, and computer skills.
