About the Job

As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at Brantford Chevrolet Buick GMC, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dealership facilities. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain hallways, floors, and stairs through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and waste containers regularly
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Physically demanding abilities, including bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Repetitive task tolerance
Working Conditions and Equipment

You will be working in an automobile dealership environment, which may include all weather conditions. You will have access to various equipment, including industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, polishing machines, and snowblowers.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience, and benefits including team building opportunities and a permanent employment arrangement. The typical working hours are 30-40 hours per week. We also offer flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing company.
