About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Zeal Janitor Services Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Plan and coordinate the work activities of the cleaning staff to ensure efficient use of resources and minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Inspect Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Manage and maintain accurate financial records related to cleaning staff, supplies, and equipment.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed to ensure they have the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of work activities.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for the cleaning staff to ensure adequate coverage and minimal disruption to our operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
