Job Description:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, coordinating with staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring adequate stock levels to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for operational improvements.
  • Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year to less than two years of experience in a similar role or related field.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with food safety and handling protocols, including certification in Food Safety and Safe Food Handling.
