Job Summary

CS Workx is seeking a highly skilled Software Verification Specialist to join our team. As a Software Verification Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough software testing in accordance with DO-178 standards to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to verify software correctness and identify defects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and resolve software issues, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities, including test results, defects, and resolutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes and techniques.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 2-6 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of DO-178 standards and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in C language, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and testing tools (e.g., Rational RTRT, LDRA).
  • Experience with embedded software development, avionics systems, and engine control software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Curiosity, autonomy, proactivity, and ability to find solutions and compromises.
