At Precious Care, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team as a Caregiving Specialist.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

This is a permanent position, working 16 to 40 hours per week. We require a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Support Worker, with equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Nutrition and Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring clients receive the proper nutrition they need.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication as required, following established protocols.
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Health Care Aide or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Personal Support Worker.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and support to others.
