Job Summary

Xakt Komponents Inc is seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand component specifications and tolerances.
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports to ensure quality control.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce complex components.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in your work.
  • Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
