The Role

This is a full-time position as a Commercial Banking Analyst based in our Winnipeg location. You will support Commercial Account Managers in risk management, prepare competitive credit packages, and identify business opportunities amongst existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure and package solutions to meet customer needs
  • Maximize profitability by utilizing FNBC pricing guidelines
  • Support the Commercial team in identifying business opportunities
  • Develop an understanding of pricing models and apply them effectively
  • Write high-quality credit applications with risk assessment, due diligence, and credit presentation
  • Make recommendations on credit decisions
  • Monitor and control the portfolio, providing feedback on accounts outside guidelines
  • Comply with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct

Qualifications Required

You must have:

  • A post-secondary education in Business (BComm or MBA)
  • High proficiency in software programs (Excel and MS Word)
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and prioritization
  • Motivation, enthusiasm, and a self-starting approach
  • Ability to adjust to changing work priorities and meet deadlines
  • Adaptability, professionalism, and efficiency
  • A desire to learn, grow, and succeed

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
