We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Tosa Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate and manage food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
- Instruct cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Leadership and teamwork skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.
