About Strescon Limited
We are a leading precast, pre-stressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada, serving the Atlantic Provinces, New England region of the United States, and Bermuda. Our 70,000 sq. ft. facility in Saint John, New Brunswick, and 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Bedford, Nova Scotia, enable us to produce a wide range of architectural and structural precast/prestressed concrete products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general heavy labour tasks in a precast concrete environment
- Assemble, prepare, and dismantle concrete forms
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete materials
- Place and tie reinforced steel
- Clean and maintain the working area
Requirements
- Previous labour experience in the concrete and/or construction industry is an asset
- Past experience with rebar tying and concrete finishing is an asset
- Ability to handle physically demanding work
- Willingness to work long shifts and extra hours
