Job Title: Telecommunications Technician

Big Instance Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware
  • Inspect and test telecommunications equipment to identify faults and defects
  • Repair or replace defective equipment and systems
  • Install and configure network equipment and software
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues and customers
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces to install and maintain telecommunications equipment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and overtime as required
