Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Specialist to join our team at Repairtech and cell solutions inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telephone equipment and telecommunications systems.

About the Role:

Education and Experience: A college or CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience is required. The ideal candidate will have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting and testing telecommunications equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Installing, arranging, removing, and maintaining telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware in accordance with industry standards.
  • Repairing or replacing defective telephone equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of service.
  • Analyzing test results and adjusting, changing, or repairing switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software to resolve technical issues.
  • Completing and maintaining test and service reports to document activities and outcomes.
  • Installing electromechanical, analog, and digital trunking systems, circuits, and equipment in telecommunications central offices and switching centres.
  • Repairing or replacing faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to ensure reliable communication systems.
