Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort's facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guestrooms and public areas
- Respond to guest calls and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property's facilities and equipment
- Identify and report safety hazards and take corrective action
- Maintain health club facilities, including hot tubs and pools
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field
- Understanding of mechanical functions and general handyperson skills
- Pool Operator Level 1 certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
