About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Metro Doors & Woodworking. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality wooden products, including cabinets, furniture, and other woodwork items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Supervise other workers
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
Work Environment

As a Cabinetmaker at Metro Doors & Woodworking, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of skilled professionals. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have manual dexterity.
