We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at TROVENT GROUP CORPORATION. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging and coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events. They will also train other workers and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Train other workers
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks
  • Permanent work term with 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
