Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Gift Shop Retailer to join our team at BC Ferries. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of merchandising, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including merchandising and display standards
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Work collaboratively with the merchandising team to maintain a visually appealing and well-organized store environment
  • Coach and support shipboard staff in loss prevention and retail best practices

Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail setting
  • 2-3 years of merchandising and display experience, preferably in a giftware and apparel environment
  • Strong sales and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
