As a key member of the GOULD FASTENERS LIMITED team, the Warehouse Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can effectively coordinate activities with other work units or departments, prepare and submit reports, and arrange for maintenance and repair work. The successful candidate will also be responsible for resolving work problems, providing technical advice, and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality. Additionally, they will train workers in duties and policies, arrange training for staff, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate, assign, and review work. The Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory, establishing work schedules and procedures, and verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments. This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle heavy loads. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be accurate and efficient, and possess a strong ability to work in a team. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required, and a college/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience is preferred. The successful candidate will also be required to undergo a criminal record check.
