Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at PARABABA CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, including reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling and joining wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments
  • Ability to work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The work will be physically demanding and require the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
