Key Responsibilities
  • Perform decontamination and sterilization procedures on medical devices to ensure they are safe for reuse.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in the reprocessing of medical devices.
  • Inspect and test medical devices to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Document and record all reprocessing activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless reprocessing and delivery of medical devices.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary certificate in Sterile Supplies Processing Techniques or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of instrument technology and sterilization/decontamination procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
