Facilities Maintenance Technician

At CBK INTERNATIONAL INC, we are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Security and Safety: Perform safety and security checks to ensure the safety of our employees and visitors.
  • Other Duties: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
