Pharmacist - Oncology

At Lakeridge Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oncology Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality cancer services.

• Support the medication-related needs of oncology patients within the Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
• Dispense retail pharmacy prescriptions and oncology clinical trial medications.
• Maintain accurate records and drug profiles.
• Provide drug information support to the oncology team and educate patients on medication management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and attend meetings as required.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy and current registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience in an oncology pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of pharmacology, current best practice clinical guidelines, and ability to interpret lab values.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and excellent medication counseling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to research and provide drug information effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
