About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Bani Custom Homes. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our interior walls and ceilings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation, including cutting and fitting drywall sheets
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs to ensure a sturdy and secure structure
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work overtime and perform repetitive tasks, but the reward is a job well done and a sense of pride in your work.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall finishing
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
