Drywall Finisher Job Description

Bani Custom Homes is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Install exterior and interior steel studs
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Overtime may be required
  • The job is physically demanding and requires repetitive tasks
