About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Control Engineer to join our team at Imperial. As a key member of our Applications & Systems Group, you will be responsible for identifying, implementing, and maintaining advanced process control applications that drive technical performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project execution of new advanced applications, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Provide input into advanced application growth and sustainment plans, aligning with business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide Unit Process Control Engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
  • Perform peer reviews for Unit Process Control Engineer activities, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, influencing other site organizations to support and guide process control initiatives.
  • Support project organization for implementation of new projects related to process control, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Interface with Process Control Networks to leverage best practices for site implementation, lead initiatives, and provide support to other sites as needed.
  • Participate in margin improvement meetings, providing input on process control optimization opportunities.
  • Accountable for identifying and implementing automation improvements within established standards and limits, benchmarked against industry best practices.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Process Control Engineer with a strong background in chemical or process control engineering. Your expertise in advanced process control applications, distributed control systems, and refining or chemicals processes will be invaluable to our team.

Preferred qualifications include experience in APC applications design, implementation, commissioning, and support, as well as a strong understanding of DCS systems and industry best practices.
