We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Worker to join our team at Tomorrow's Topkids Child Care Society. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes maintaining a clean and organized daycare environment, supervising staff and trainees, and communicating with parents to ensure the well-being of the children.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment
- Supervise staff and trainees
- Communicate with parents to ensure the well-being of the children
- Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
- Lead activities that promote creativity and learning
- Order supplies and equipment
- Encourage children to express themselves through art, music, and physical activity
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
