Job Title: Child Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Worker to join our team at Tomorrow's Topkids Child Care Society. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes maintaining a clean and organized environment, supervising staff and children, and communicating with parents to ensure the best possible care for our young clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including daycare equipment and supplies
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure the best possible care for children
  • Communicate with parents to ensure their child's needs are met
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various activities
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for meals and rest periods
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
