Machinist Technician

Adecco Canada is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our client's dynamic Maintenance Department in Regina, SK.

This full-time role involves working closely with other tradespersons to ensure the efficiency and reliability of industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhering to Workplace Safety Policies: Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Reading Technical Documents: Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Maintenance and Repair: Repair and assemble industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
• Testing and Quality Control: Test and provide constructive feedback on existing and newly manufactured industrial equipment.
• Inspection and Diagnostics: Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• Reporting and Training: Prepare inspection and service reports, and train and mentor apprentices and other staff on industrial repair practices.
• Installation and Alignment: Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.

Requirements:

• Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
• Red Seal Certification: Must hold a valid Red Seal certification as a Machinist.
• Experience: Proven experience in industrial machinery maintenance and repair.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Teamwork: Team-oriented with the ability to train and mentor others.
