Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless look.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Advise clients on color choices and wall coverings to meet their needs.
  • Operate various painting equipment and machinery, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
  • Perform drywall taping and patching to create a smooth finish.
  • Specialize in wood finishing, including staining and other techniques.
  • Expertly apply wallpaper and other wall coverings to create a professional look.
  • Travel to various locations to complete painting and decorating projects.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work at heights.
  • Valid work permit and ability to work in Canada.
