We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Job SummaryThe Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized food counter, and assisting with food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and handling customer inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized food counter, including washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and restocking supplies
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, including portioning and wrapping food, and arranging dishes and utensils
- Operate dishwashers and other kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and efficiency
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized storage area
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Reliability and punctuality
The Food Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in this environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
