Job Description

As a seasoned Production Director at Ubisoft, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall development of a game. Your primary objective will be to plan and guide the production process, ensuring its success from conception to completion.

You will work closely with the Producer and Creative Director to assess the game's vision and project requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining the project scope: Create a high-level roadmap and timeline, establish main deliverables and key milestones, and set development strategies and budgets.
  • Building the project team: Establish an organizational structure to optimize the team's talents and ensure effective collaboration.
  • Risk management: Anticipate and identify potential risks and setbacks, and develop plans to overcome them.
  • Progress monitoring: Track progress and synchronize with associate producers and production managers to ensure the project stays on pace.
  • Team growth and development: Foster a supportive work environment and contribute to the growth and development of the production team.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 7 years of experience in production management in the video game industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of development pipelines and interdependencies, as well as familiarity with various project management methodologies.
  • A degree in Project Management or Business Administration, or relevant training.
  • An innovative spirit and ability to influence change.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and consideration of the impact of your choices on creators.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs.
